Challenge 1 - 56 Miles for Prostate Cancer Research - Update 3

Published on 18 February 2025 at 13:07

Today was a total success, I went out with a mind to complete my longest walk yet - 5.11 miles completed, so just a shade over my 5 mile target. I am now over 35 miles into my challenge and absolutely back on track to do my target for the month.  Not getting complacent I will continue to aim for at least 4 miles a day just in case something happens that prevents me from going out sometime.

Once again my trusty companion Molly the dog was with me all the way and enjoying the run out, especially so as she gets her chicken dinner when she gets home and then sleep ... sleep ..... and more sleep.

I am finding this challenge a great motivation to get out of the house and get some fresh air, it would be nice if there was some sunshine but I have to feel blessed that there is no rain.

Checking the feed is inspirational to see all the other people out raising money for this great cause, and it lightens the heart when you hear today that a new accurate test has been developed and is just awaiting NHS/NICE approval, so clever these people.
